An eye catching F1 choi with purple red tops to their leaves and bright green stems. Fast growing it can be grown as a baby leaf salad or harvested as whole heads ideal for stir fry. The red colouration becomes much enhanced in colder weather.
Sow thinly directly to seed beds from Mar to Aug and Sep to Oct (protected during very cold spells) at 1cm deep. Rows should be 30cm apart for baby veg and 40cm for mature plants.
When large enough to handle thin to 10cm for baby leaf and 30cm for mature plants.
Pick leave regularly to help reduce bolting
Keep moist as dry periods will encourage bolting.
Germination in a week and can be harvested in 3-4 weeks.
